Sports and gaming came together in a first of its kind collaboration today, as the Philadelphia Eagles announced a partnership with the widely successful Angry Birds app.
To compliment the Eagles team theme, Angry Birds will fit nicely with future marketing initiatives, including social media.

As soon as we heard of the news, we reached out to the Eagles to gather a better understanding of how the team plans on utilizing this partnership. Ari Roitman, Eagles SVP of Business believes it is a way to connect with new audiences, including the younger age group of NFL fans.
“We’ll promote this partnership on every social platform we can. This is a great opportunity to connect our team to the app generation,” Roitman told Sportsdigita.
